New Born Puppies
I am delighted to let you know that Autumn has safely delivered her puppies, 2 boys and 5 girls!
Her puppies are absolutely beautiful! They range in colours and patterns... they are just amazing!!
AN UPDATE ON THE BIRTH
Autumn kept us waiting, passing her due date by a number of days. She was showing signs of early stages of labour but didn’t have any obvious signs that she was on the verge of going into active labour until moments before delivering her first puppy!
Autumn had a brilliant labour through out the early hours of the morning, she was very relaxed and calm from start to finish - Pink Collar was the first to be born and Red Collar was the last. All 7 pups were born healthy, a good weight and all had a good pair of lungs on them.
The first 7 days are the most critical in any young puppies development. The puppies can’t regulate their own temperature and are born with their eyes and ears closed. They are completely dependent on their mother for everything, this even includes going to the toilet as they can’t do this without their mother licking their bottom to stimulate them.
